Finishing & Inspection

Sand Casting 05

Finishing and Inspection in sand casting involves cleaning and refining the casting after it has been removed from the mold. Finishing operations include removing excess material, such as gates and risers, through cutting, grinding, or machining. Surface treatments may also be applied to improve appearance and dimensional accuracy. Inspection is performed to detect defects using visual checks, measurements, and non-destructive testing methods. This stage ensures that the final product meets quality standards and functional requirements.

Finishing & Inspection training contents include two PowerPoint presentations and a video.

Presentations and video are available in English, Turkish, Czech, Polish, and Spanish.
