Melting Process
Melting Process in high-pressure die casting (HPDC) refers to the controlled heating of metal alloys in a furnace until they reach the required molten state for injection. This stage involves precise temperature regulation and chemical composition control to maintain consistent material properties. Proper melting minimizes gas content and inclusions that could cause defects in the final casting. A stable and clean melt is essential for achieving high-quality, repeatable HPDC components.
